we build together, slowly and surely,
unaware of the end, present in the now.

surrounded and encircled,
we are balancing and constructing,
forming a wall, forging a target.

we are here and will continue to be.
for we are the cause of the destruction.
we control it,
as we claim ownership of our creation and its demise.
